Hands-free and Voice control
AR glasses are fully suited for use in all kinds of industrial facilities including the conditions of moisture, dust, high temperatures, noise, as well as in hazardous environments. The glasses can be mounted on safety helmets and used together with protective goggles and corrective glasses. Voice control allows completely hands-free operation.
Photo capture, annotations, and supporting assets
Our platform allows the expert to see the working site through the remote worker’s AR glasses or smartphone camera. In the process, the expert can add various markings to the display, such as highlighting or arrows, to make guidance clearer. It is also possible to add notes to the image that stay in place even when the camera turns in another direction.
Real-time Information Sharing
If any additional material is required, experts can share various content right during the call. Files can be shared easily without interrupting the call allowing the field worker to immediately access the supplementary information.
Low-bandwidth capabilities
Supporteo AR Assist was specially designed for use in remote areas and has minimum requirements to the internet connection. It can support video and audio calls, transmit various files including 3D content, and enable IoT integrations at only 256 kbps.
External devices
Сonnecting a mobile device or AR glasses directly to several external devices, such as an additional camera or video probes, barcode scanner, which greatly simplifies and facilitates the work of scanning codes, or an infrared thermal camera that allows timely and accurate diagnostics of heat leaks or components overloading.
Robust security infrastructure
Any data communicated during the remote consultation sessions is fully end-to-end encrypted, both in transit and at rest. The security measures implemented in Supporteo meet the highest standards and comply with the applicable government regulations. For increased security and compliance, cloud computing infrastructure can be deployed on-premise to enable air-gapping.
Send/Receive Files
In addition to the expert’s instructions, the technicians may need to consult user guides, manuals, diagrams, or other reference materials. The expert can easily send the appropriate document to the remote worker with a single click. During the call, both the expert and the worker can consult the documentation in real-time.
Session Recording
All remote consultation sessions can be recorded for future reference. Recording can be initiated on the expert’s side producing a video file that can be immediately viewed without any conversion. Session recordings can be used in technician training, quality control, or for reference in similar cases.
Multi-call
The platform supports calls to several experts simultaneously. In extreme situations, when a consultation is required in more than one aspect, several experts can join the call and, looking at the problem through the worker’s AR glasses, provide their guidance.
On-premise or in the cloud
Depending on customer requirements for data management, Supporteo is the first augmented reality communication tool to be able to operate its backend in both cloud and on-premise environments.
GPS
The built-in GPS feature allows resolving the exact geographic position of the site. Knowing the geographic position may be important for determining the precise instructions required to resolve the problem.
QR codes
Supporteo AR Assist uses QR codes to download content quickly. By scanning the QR code, the technician can download various workflows related to their tasks as well as update them when necessary.

All data communications are encrypted with Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2). To encrypt metadata that is uploaded to our apps as well to protect especially sensitive data at rest, we use AES 256-bit encryption.
FIREWALL
To protect data, we use the inherent AWS security mechanisms, a system firewall and antivirus tool. In addition, Trend Micro Cloud One – Workload Security (DSaas) as Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDS / IPS) are implemented.
CLOUD SERVICE
We use AWS as the hosting provider for our cloud servers to comply with AICPA SOC 1, SOC 2 type 2 and SOC 3 requirements as well as to ensure ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 certification. For on-premise infrastructures, we provide different options depending on the specific requirements.
UPDATES
Security patches are issued on a regular basis to guarantee proper protection.
BACKUPS
All data is backed up regularly, three times per 24 hours. Each backup is stored on different servers from different cloud providers to ensure sufficient redundancy.
